Team News
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is likely to miss Saturday's Barclays Premier League clash with Burnley because of a knee injury.

Defender Kieran Gibbs faces a fitness test for an unspecified problem, while Arsene Wenger has said winger Theo Walcott will not be rushed back despite his return from a serious knee injury.

Laurent Koscielny (Achilles), Mesut Özil (knee), David Ospina (thigh), Yaya Sanogo (hamstring), Abou Diaby (calf), Olivier Giroud (fractured foot) and Mathieu Debuchy (ankle) are out.

Meanwhile, Burnley midfielder Dean Marney is set to return from a hamstring problem for the Clarets' trip to Arsenal on Saturday.

Marney has trained all week and could go straight back into the side but the game again comes too soon for Steven Reid, who has only just returned to training after a groin problem.

Midfielder Matt Taylor's Achilles operation was a success but no date has yet been set for a possible return while striker Sam Vokes is still working his way back from a serious knee injury.

Match Notes
Arsenal have their problems just now but they are nothing like as serious as Burnley's.

They have not win a competitive match since April and there has been nothing in their recent form to suggest this sequence can be broken at the Emirates.

The one hope is that, while Arsenal have won their past two games, their form is far from the flowing.

There is also still tension and frustration around Arsenal amid a gap already of nine points to Chelsea. The return of Theo Walcott should provide a huge boost.

Stat of the game: Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 22 Premier League games at the Emirates.

Jeremy Wilson's prediction: Arsenal 2 Burnley 0.
