On the opening day, 2012/13 winners Poland beat hosts Estonia 5-0, set on their way by two Klaudia Milek goals.Born on 31 December 1999, Estonia's Siret Räämet became the youngest player to take part in the competition since it began in 2007/08.Finland thrashed Bosnia and Herzegovina 9-0, Aino Kröger scoring four and Emilia Ukkonen claiming a 12-minute first-half hat-trick.On the next matchday Poland and Finland both secured progress with victories.Poland defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 4-0, Milek again managing two goals.Finland saw off Estonia 8-0, Kröger getting four goals this time and Ukkonen another two.Finland overcame Poland 2-0 to finish top thanks to Amanda Rantanen and Kröger.The consolation of third place was earned by Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a late own goal edging out Estonia 1-0.

Of course, we are satisfied with the result, but we could have scored earlier in the match against Poland. We had chances. But I'm delighted we didn't concede any goal in the three games.


I'm very proud of my players. I think we deserved to win this game and this mini-tournament. I think Poland have a good team too. We will try to go all the way. It's a tough path, but we want to develop our players individually.
