Standoff ends after fire in Muskogee

MUSKOGEE, Okla. —


A standoff in Muskogee ended when the home caught fire and a suspect jumped from the home.  


Police told FOX23 that the Muskogee Police Department Special Operations Team, with the United States Marshal Service Task Force, served multiple felony warrants to Blake Holladay around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

They said he refused to come out of the residence in the 1200 block of Fremont. They also said they had information that he’d previously threatened to shoot and kill police. 


When he refused to leave the house, the USMS task force called for assistance from Muskogee police SOT, and they also tried to get him out by using loud speakers to communicate. They said after multiple unsuccessful attempts, S.O.T. threw CS gas into the first and second floors of the home.

They said the home caught fire and Holladay jumped from a 2nd story window and was taken to the hospital. 


The Muskogee Fire Marshal will determine what caused the home to catch fire.  


Holladay faces warrants for failure to pay on endeavoring to Manufacture C.D.S. and child endangerment, motion to revoke on bogus checks, failure to pay on knowingly withholding-concealing stolen property, failure to pay on bogus checks, motion to revoke on endeavoring to manufacture c.d.s. and child endangerment.
