A few blocks later police attempted to stop Burton but that’s when they say he took off at a high rate of speed.  According to police, Burton led them through an open field near 8900 East 50th Street before eventually hitting stop sticks, then striking a curb and wrecking on the side of 51st street just west US-169.

Police said Burton then took off on foot and ran into a nearby Mexican restaurant where he was found and arrested. He has been booked into the Tulsa County Jail on charges of possessing a stolen vehicle, eluding and hit and run.
